Today version 1.20 of nopCommerce was released. Only 2 months since the last release, the latest version is packed with even more features, from full support for VAT to CMS features and a forum module.
It's been a busy few months on the nopCommerce development team.
nopCommerce is becoming more and more popular. We recently got added to Microsoft's Web Application Gallery (the only eCommerce project to be listed) and have had over 6.000 downloads from that site alone!
So what has the latest release (version 1.20) got to offer?
Feature list:
- Tiered Pricing - Add tiered prices to your products ("The more you spend the cheaper the product")
- New Forum Module - because being the best .net eCommerce sotuion wasn't enough. Now you can benefit from your own forum, straight out the box!
- VAT Support - Great news for UK companies.
- Improved Tax Management - In addition to supporting VAT, the new Tax management features make it easier to configure the Tax on your products. You can even give your customers the option to select whether to view prices inclusive or exclusive of tax.
- Nested Master Pages - it's now even easier to create your own custom layouts and designs!
- CMS (Content Management Features) - CMS style Topics implemented so that you can create your own pages as well as managing content pages like "Shipping Info" and "Terms and Conditions".
- Improved administration. New dashboard interface showing useful reports. Configure URL rewriting and store theme from within administration.
- New user friendly checkout design
- Support for all file formats for downloadable products.
